Meet local artist, visit downtown stores, have a night of shopping, network in your community, display your art, sing, rap, read poetry, display body art, share your style, get inspired, share techniques, demo your work, volunteer, and have fun! Next Art Hop July 21, 2012 5-9pm, registration deadline is 30 days before the Art Hop. Artists in order to participate you have to upload images of your artwork, if you don't have your images uploaded you can not participate. No vendors, tables outside, passing flyers and soliciting during the Art Hop.

I have taken many classes, starting at age 12 in the back of Young's Toy store learning to paint. I have also taken many college courses. My artwork is categorized as Fantasy Art. | Artist Statement | I paint because, for me, it is an imperative. I have to create, it's like breathing for me. Painting takes me to another place, where it is peaceful and I can think and wind down from day to day stresses. I couldn't live and not create. I paint in several mediums. I usually use oils, it was the medium I was first taught to use and am more comfortable using. I also have painted in Acrylics and Watercolors. |
