Meet local artist, visit downtown stores, have a night of shopping, network in your community, display your art, sing, rap, read poetry, display body art, share your style, get inspired, share techniques, demo your work, volunteer, and have fun! Next Art Hop July 21, 2012 5-9pm, registration deadline is 30 days before the Art Hop. Artists in order to participate you have to upload images of your artwork, if you don't have your images uploaded you can not participate. No vendors, tables outside, passing flyers and soliciting during the Art Hop.

| Artist Statement | I am an artist of constant development and determination to express what the face hides but soul shows. Believer in all things impossible, romanticizing in photographs, my images come to life with the emotion I breathe into them. In moments of clarity and sense of self acceptance I give my concepts wings to fly, seizing the essence of that moment with the sound of the camera shutter snapping closed. Photographs break the ties that bind giving the viewer that one moment of exhale, relief maybe that they are not alone in the reality of their own hypocrisy or judgment. My best images come from the silence of my mind and the opening of my heart. From shadows cast or comforting colors, to bright vibrate illumination my images are composed out of a true desire to share my own life lessons and be a teacher of others. |
