Personal Profile	My name is Bailey, and I am a nine year old Moluccan Cockatoo. Some people call me "Baileywicks" (that's my thing). I am a very personable and unique artist. I love people and being out and about. Two years ago, one of my Mom's started working with beads and I became "VERY" excited and intrigued with the colors and shapes of the beads. It was at this time that I became an "artist". My Mom began to allow me to choose color and bead patterns of my art pieces. As I select the beads, my Mom strings them on a piece of copper wire which is used with other copper pipe and braided wire to make my artist masterpieces. These range from wine bottle holders, wall hanging decor to out door garden flutes, and Manzanita copper-wrapped walking/hiking sticks. I like to do "my own thing" however special requests are welcome. My hobbies include playing with my five parrot siblings, doing loop-D-loops in my hoop, watching Disney DVDs, talking....especially when my opinion is not heard, giving LOTS of kisses, singing, ringing my telephone, going shopping in my "very cool stroller", and vacationing with my Mom's.

Artist Statement	"My opinion?"..... you need to see my artwork in person to really "get the feel" of it! It is quite difficult to see the beauty of my art thru photos. My artwork is carried in three stores in Mariposa; Shockley's Gallery, Mountain Flowers & Gifts and in Pony Expresso. I also have a Facebook Page, Bailey's Yard & Art Creations. My first Arthop was on July 2nd in Mariposa and I am very excited to be able to come down to Merced on the 17th to participate in the Merced Arthop! I hope to be blessed with meeting lots of new people! Oh! This should be in my "about me" but I almost forgot, I really love to snuggle and I'm learning how to yodel with my brothers Bugsy and Peyton! See you soon!

How is Art Exhibited?	My "carpenter" Mom has built "traveling display racks" for my artwork. We bring everything we need to display my pieces.
